Educational assessment

An Educational Assessment is a 1-hour face to face assessment test that assesses basic literacy and numeracy skills using a range of standardised tests.

A short summary report is provided and if signs and symptoms of dyslexia are indicated, recommendations of support will be provided.

An Educational Assessment does not provide a diagnosis of dyslexia but can be a good indicator of whether further investigation is needed.

Tests include:

• Single-word reading

• Single-word spelling

• Phonemic decoding

• Processing Speed

• Writing speed

• Maths

A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking and the remaining fee is due 24 hours before the day of the assessment.
